![]() In my gaming tests, the mouse was very smooth. ![]() Being able to configure the buttons to do whatever tasks I wanted it to do was useful, whether it was assigning shortcuts or using it for internet purposes. During long sessions, this mouse never felt uncomfortable in the hand. The tasks I was performing on the mouse involved a lot of internet research for clinical topics, Microsoft Office usage, and using the mouse for video editing on Final Cut Pro X. My usage mainly stemmed from office-related tasks, with some light gaming in between. During the course of my testing as a daily driver mouse, I have to be approaching near the 200-hour mark and the mouse is still going strong. Even with a single AA battery, this G305 mouse has a huge battery life, with the company saying it’s around 250 hours. I’ve been trying to get the battery life down to zero, with little success even after days of heavy usage. ![]() Now now, size isn’t everything – compared with Logitech MX Master 2S. There is also a nice multi-colored LED that tells you what DPI mode your mouse currently has enabled. The mouse fits comfortably and can be further configured using Logitech’s G Hub software application, which can assign profiles and different uses for the buttons on the mouse. I was surprised at how nice it still managed to feel in the hand. It’s durable, and even in my bag with various pieces of equipment, the mouse hasn’t been scratched or damaged yet. This mouse is light enough where I can just throw it into a backpack and use it for the day without much worries. This mouse is only 90 grams, and for a mouse, that is a great feature. The first highlight of the mouse is that it’s incredibly, incredibly light. If $59.99 is too much, the G305 has a little brother in the G205, which is a wired version of the same mouse. With a price tag of $59.99, I have some thoughts, and it’s time to share said thoughts to you guys. Over the last several weeks, I have had the joy of testing the Logitech G305, one of the gaming mice that they offer. Logitech has been a staple for my video game peripherals for the past several years, and their products never disappoint.
